Thomas's first pictures

These are Thomas's first attempts at photography. They're not too shabby, we'll just have to teach him not to blind us with the flash.

Big Brother

I'm taking a break from watching the football game to post these pictures I just took. (Notice the BYU shirts.) Thomas sometimes tries to get Benjamin to play with him. It's pretty funny to watch. I've caught him trying to unroll the baby's hand to give him five, or giving the baby "dogpound." I would say that Thomas is excited to have someone his own size to play with.

A trip to the farm

Thomas is pretty interested in animals, so I figured he would have fun at the petting zoo. Last week we took a field trip to a petting zoo/farm close to us. We had a great time. Surprisingly, Thomas didn't want to get anywhere near the animals, but I can't say I blame him. Horses and cows are big animals, especially for a little guy who only weighs 25 pounds.

Here's Thomas feeding the turkeys some corn. He thought that was so fun, and still talks about the "wooster" that pecked his hand.

His favorite part was the wagon ride. He was pretty tired by the time we got on the wagon, so he just sat back and chilled. I thought it was funny how he put his arms up on the side of the wagon.

Benjamin also enjoyed the wagon ride.

Viva Las Vegas!

This past weekend, we took a little weekend trip to St. George and Las Vegas. It was so nice to get out of the cold weather for a couple of days. On Friday, we stopped at Snow Canyon just outside of St. George and let Thomas explore the sand dunes a little. He loved running up and down the hills and sliding down on his bum. He would have gone forever if we had let him.
In Las Vegas, we saw the shark reef at Mandalay Bay and visited M&M World. Oh, and we hit up In-N-Out a couple of times. Yum! Dave is turning Cindy and Thomas into fans.

Welcome to our blog

Well we decided to start a blog, not so much because we think anyone will read it, but because we figure this is a good way to keep some basic family history with some pictures and stuff . Plus, who knows, some of you might read it and perhaps once in while find it entertaining or interesting.
